Three-phase motors with single-phase power supply

Single-phase power to three-phase motor running, just to increase an appropriate phase shift capacitors, as follows:
For the star connection of the motor, wiring method as shown in Figure 1; for the delta connection of the motor, wiring method as shown in Figure 2. According to practice, phase shift capacitor value should be approximately equal to 0.07 and the motor power of the product, such as the motor power of 150 watts, the selected capacitor’s capacity should be approximately equal to 0.07 x 150 = 10.5 microfarads, with two fluorescent capacitors (4.75µF ) parallel to meet the requirements.
If the motor starts quickly, and hear the hum of the larger, should reduce the capacity of the capacitor; such as motor starting slowly, may be appropriate to increase the capacity of the capacitor.
