SA2421 2.45 GHz low voltage RF transceiver

The SA2421 is a low voltage transceiver which is manufactured by Philips company It is manufactured using the 20 GHz fT BiCMOS transceiver for IEEE 802.11 wireless networks in (WLAN), communications systems and 2.45 GHz ISM band applications . The main technical features are as follows : * Work frequency of 2.4 ~ 2.5 GHz; * intermediate frequency (IF) range of 50 ~ 500 MHz; * low-noise amplifier (LNA) gain of 14.3 dB; * noise figure of 3.2 dB, * input third order intercept point of -3 dBm; * working voltage is 2.7 ~ 5.5 V; * emission current of 34 mA, to receive current of 20 mA (3V power supply ), *low- power mode current of 10µA ; * power consumption is 555 mW.

This IC contains a LNA, and Up-Down converters as its main components. For power consumption, the LNA goes to sleep mode at inactive time.
